Gillian Duncan, Centre Secretary and Personal Assistant to the Director.

Gillian has been with CSTPV since 1992 and is the Centre Secretary and Personal Assistant to the Director. Prior to coming to St Andrews, Gillian was Project Administrator for a DFID sponsored project at Dundee University and also assisted in the formation of the Belfast City Council Economic Development Strategy 1992 - 1995. Gillian studied at Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education and Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

Currently, Gillian is responsible for the creation of the in-house teaching policy, specifically the development of MMS to meet the needs of e-learning students and staff and all Centre administration.

She is also chief administrator on a large EU grant, Editor of the CSTPV online journal – Journal of Terrorism Research (JTR) and administrator of Terrorism and Political Violence.

Gillian is responsible for the organization of all events and conferences hosted by CSTPV and creation of the centre literature and regularly attends and organizes events at home and abroad.

Gillian is an Associate Member of the Institute of Administrative Management and a Member of the Association of University Administrators.
