Social and Environmental Accountability Journal

Journal of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR)

Social and Environmental Accountability Journal is currently published twice per year and distributed free to members of CSEAR (Joining CSEAR).  It continues the work of Social Accounting Monitor as a major element of the social and environmental accounting network.  A key feature of the Journal is its extensive reviews of recent books and journal articles of relevance to researchers, practitioners and students in the field.

From January 2011 the Journal will be published by Routledge for an initial period of 5 years. This will increase the distribution of and access to, the journal, especially in the form of electronic access via a variety of on-line services.  All full members of CSEAR will continue to receive free electronic access to the journal as part of their membership.

The journal provides a forum for a wide range of different forms of academic and academic-related communications whose aim is to balance honesty and scholarly rigour with directness, clarity, policy-relevance and novelty.  Papers are normally of a shorter length than typically anticipated in academic journals in the social sciences and are of a maximum of 5,000 words in length.

All enquiries about the Journal and items for inclusion should be sent directly to the Editors.
See the Centre's 'contact CSEAR' page for correspondence address.
