To help you settle into your new role, a structured induction plan is crucial. Your induction plan is tailored depending on the type of job you do. CAPOD coordinates the induction process for new staff by separating new staff into eight different categories depending on job role.

The next University Induction event is taking place on WEDNESDAY 23rd January 2013.
If you are a new member of staff, have started work in St Andrews, and have not received an invite to this event by the middle of January, please get in touch with us: email capod@st-andrews.ac.uk
This event gives you the opportunity to meet other new colleagues as well as some of the key contacts in the University. You’ll also learn a little about the history and structure of the University; some important information to ease your transition into working here; the importance of valuing the diversity of our University community and also have the option of a historical walking tour of town. The morning is mandatory for all staff, and the afternoon sessions strongly recommended.
