Al-Qamar al-Muntasir

'Ahlan wa Sahlan!'
Originally the shire's second Norman household, called "La Lune Triomphante", Al-Qamar al-Muntasir ("The Triumphant Moon") has more recently become a rallying-point for the more unusual personas of the shire, such as Arab physicians, Mongol warriors or Japanese samurai. Its members combine a love of music and storytelling with expertise in the wielding of "weapons of little or no hurt

Every member of this household has the right to add the epithet "Al-Qamari" (if a lord) or "Al-Qamariya" (if a lady) to their name. This means "The Qamarite" (lit. "of the moon").
