The information in this table is based on details entered in Macmillan’s Card Catalogue and Editions Book. Until 1910 Macmillan kept the Editions Book as the only source of information about their editions and reprints thereof. After that the firm introduced the Card Catalogue as their primary form of keeping a record of these details. Information on earlier prints was copied into the Card Catalogue, and, though incomplete, the Editions Book still contains printing details until 1923.
