Arché welcomes applications from Postdoctoral researchers to visit, especially from those with active interests in our current projects. However, due to exceptionally high demand, Arché can accept only a limited number of Visiting Postdoctoral researchers each year. Arché accepts visitors during its two academic sessions:
- Arché Martinmas Semester: ~21 September - ~21 January
Application deadline: 1 June
- Arché Candlemas Semester: ~21 March – ~8 July
Application deadline: 1 December
Applications to visit must be received by the above deadlines. They will be assessed by Arché Council and the applicants notified shortly after these dates.
Postdoctoral researchers interested in visiting Arché should download an application form, available as a Word document and PDF document. When completed, application forms should be sent, along with accompanying documentation by email only to: arche@st-andrews.ac.uk.
Details of some UK and overseas sources of funding for postdoctoral research can be found here. Arché will fully support the funding applications of accepted candidates. In addition, funding for international researchers to make short visits to Scottish research groups is available from the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
