Virtual tour of St Rule's Tower
St Rule's Tower, within the grounds of the Cathedral, stands at 108 feet high. It gives a wonderful panoramic view over the town and harbour and towards the surrounding countryside.
Access to the tower requires an entrance token which can be obtained at the Cathedral visitor centre. The climb to the top is narrow and steep, and visitors should be careful when descending.
The tower is part of the Cathedral that was built in 1127 to hold the relics of St Andrew, patron saint of Scotland.
