5.1 Annual Academic Monitoring
Annual Academic Monitoring is a well-established component of the University calendar and is a crucial element of our procedures for the quality assurance of learning and teaching at St Andrews. This process requires all Schools in the University to submit an annual report to the Academic Monitoring Assurance Group reflecting on their previous year's teaching. This routine monitoring of quality and standards is supplemented by a more thorough review, with external participation, every 5-6 years through the University's programme of Internal Reviews.
Schools are required to submit their Annual Academic Monitoring Report for 2010-11 by Friday 18 November. Information on this process is available in the Reporting Guidelines 2010-11 (PDF, 30 KB). The Annual Academic Monitoring Report pro-forma (Word, 27 KB)(Word, 27 KB) gives the core headings which Schools are asked to use in preparation of their submission.
The Annual Academic Monitoring data can only be accessed by staff using your University username and password. Please click Academic monitoring data. This links directly to the login page. If you experience any access difficulties please contact Carol Morris.
