Get Involved!
CSA offers various projects for both returning and visiting students to get involved in promoting the Student Experience for other students who are considering working or studying abroad or coming to St Andrews to study.

CSA Events and Competitions
Photo Competition - Submit photos from your time abroad for the chance to win some fantastic prizes!
British Council Competition
The British Council runs this competition for returning Erasmus students. The winning entries for 2011 are available to view on the British Council's webpage. Reading them may give you more of an idea about what the competition involves. This competition is run annually and there have been several winners from St Andrews in the past, so we encourage you to participate!
The theme for 2012 is: My Erasmus Story - Making an Impact
You are invited to submit an essay, photograph or a film and have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes. Further details about each category and how to enter can be found on the British Council's webpage.
Receptions
CSA hosts a Welcome (Back) Reception for the participants of the Buddy Scheme at the beginning of both semesters. These take the form of a wine and nibbles Reception in the evening. We shall e-mail you with more details closer to the time!
We also host a Farewell Graduation for all of our non-graduating students at the end of the academic year.
Societies
The At Home and Abroad Society (AHASoc) brings together students who want to go on a year abroad and students who have just returned. Whether you have questions you'd like answered or you just want to chat to someone who's been abroad, it can be a great help.
The St Andrews Year Abroad Forum is a great way to ask other students in the same or different countries practical questions and share experiences of your time abroad.
