Student Services Committee
This Committee meets four times a year when it considers and reports on matters affecting non-academic student services of any kind. The Committee reviews and as necessary advises University Court on such matters. It also passes relevant matter through the University's Equal Opportunities Committee.

Disability Advisory Group (DAG)
The remit of this Group is to review accessibility not only in terms of physical aspects but also of curriculum and the overall student experience in terms of the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) and the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (2001). The DAG reports to Court through the Equal Opportunity Committee.

Equal Opportunities Committee
This Committee considers matters concerning the development of, and progress in the implementation of, the University's Equal Opportunities Policy. It also considers the implications of changes in legislation for the implementation of equal opportunities in the University. This committee services both staff and students.

Student Support Forum
The purpose of the Forum is to identify and discuss openly welfare, equal opportunity and support issues affecting students and the appropriate necessary action to address needs in these areas. The Forum is welcoming of a wide area of representatives from both staffs and students and any member of the University community is welcome to approach with issues requiring consideration. This might include making proposals to the appropriate University or Student Association Office Bearer. Any recommendations coming forward from the discussions in the Forum can be taken to the next meeting of the Student Services Committee.
