National Entitlement Card‌Fed up with having to carry your passport around everywhere for ID?

Worried about losing your passport?

Why not get a National Entitlement Card instead?

If you are aged between 11 and 26 years old and live in Scotland (this is for all students not just Scottish students) you can get a Young Scot card completely free!!

Not only can you use it for proof of age, you can also get great discounts on travel and places such as Pizza Hut, Cineworld, Dorothy Perkins and many more.

If you live in St Andrews and would like to apply for a Young Scot card you will need to phone MyFife enquires line on 03451550066. In Fife the card is called a My Fife Card. You will need to have the following information to hand:

  • Full Name
  • Address (during term time)
  • Date of Birth
  • Plus your timetable/diary to make an appointment that suits you.

The appointment will be at the local council office which is next to the Union Building. You will need to take along with you ID and proof of address. The application form is filled out during the appointment. You will then have your photo taken and your card will be sent out in the post within 5-7 working days.

To apply for a National Entitlement Card:

Call 08080801 0338 or email infoline@youngscot.org

They will send out an application out in the post.

Simply take the completed application form together with two forms of ID to a local validation point.

Or Call My Fife Card 08451 55 00 66 or email: myfife.card@fife.gov.uk to book your 15 min appointment at your local Council office (it’s next to the Union Building). Take proof of your age and photo (photo can be taken at your appointment if required).
