£330 Bursaries for 2012/13

If you are an Undergraduate student from England, Wales or Northern Ireland, new to the University in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011 and in receipt of a maximum maintenance grant, you MAY be eligible for a £330 bursary.   

You must be:

  • From England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
  • New to higher education in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011 have had a sufficient break in study to come under the 2006 student funding regulations.
  • Able to provide evidence of being in receipt of the maximum maintenance grant.

2012/13 Rates

  • Maximum Grant from England -  £2984
  • Maximum Grant from Wales - £5000
  • Maximum Grant from Northern Ireland - £3475

Please note that Scottish students are unable to access this bursary as provision had been made by the Scottish Government to support students from the rest of the UK (RUK) who would have been able to access an institutional bursary had they studied in RUK.

Bursaries are apart of the Discretionary Fund and therefore international and EU students are ineligible to apply.
