Childcare Fund-Lone Parent Childcare Grant
Eligible students must be studying full-time and on an undergraduate course and funded by SAAS (Students Awards Agency for Scotland). Students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland funding bodies who are eligible for Childcare grants are NOT eligible for this fund. However, they can apply to the Discretionary Fund if applicable.
From August 2011, SAAS(Student Awards Agency for Scotland) have transferred the LPCG to HEI to administer. If you are a lone parent and have Childcare who has received your Lone parent grant award notice from SAAS you can apply for this additional fund through the childcare application.

Application forms are available from Student Services and The ASC or you can download a form: Application for Financial Assistance 2012/2013 (PDF, 133 KB) and Application to Childcare Fund or Lone Parent Grant 2012-13 (PDF, 9 KB) Completed, signed forms accompanied with all necessary supporting documentation must be handed into Student Services.
