UKBA Confirmation Events
The University of St Andrews is a Highly Trusted Sponsor under the Points Based Migration System. This means that we are able to welcome students from all over the world to study at our beautiful and ancient institution.
If you are a non-EU national and will be studying at the University of St Andrews under a Tier 4 visa you will be required to have your passport and visa documentation verified twice each academic year by a member of staff. Verification will take place at Matriculation and as part of a UKBA confirmation event held in week three of the second semester.
Verification of your passport and visa is a compulsory requirement set out by the UK Border Agency. Prior to each event you will receive information on what you are required to do.
