Early Assessment for JS1A Students
As the examination diet for Semester 1 takes place after the Christmas vacation, it is recognised that this may cause difficulties for international students who are enrolled only for the autumn (fall) semester and whose home institution resumes classes during January. Alternative arrangements for final assessments can therefore be made for students affected, provided their home institution has indicated in writing that this will be acceptable for the purposes of credit transfer.
Students should be aware that Early Assessment arrangements apply ONLY for the Semester 1 examinations. Students enrolled for the whole year, or for Semester 2 only, are expected to be available in St Andrews for the full duration of the May examination diet, and should make travel and other arrangements accordingly.
