Students' Association teaching awards

Every year, students from across the University nominate their tutors, lecturers, and supervisors for Teaching Awards. These awards are run by the Students’ Association, and aim to recognise and celebrate excellent teaching in St Andrews. There are a variety of different categories, including dissertation supervisor, innovation in teaching, and postgraduate tutor, and an award is also given to the School with the most nominations.

As students, we feel it’s vital that the University recognises the importance of good teaching to our overall performance and excellence as an institution, and for students it’s a fantastic way of expressing our thanks to members of staff who have contributed so much towards our University life.
