Order a local-area pager
This is the Ericsson local area mobile radio pager. It is the only type of pager which is fully integrated with the University of St Andrews private campus telephone network. (Must be ordered).

Features
The pager is fully integrated with our existing fixed-line telephone network. The pager can have the same number as your extension so that calls can be diverted to your pager. If you are not at your desk to answer your phone, the pager bleeps when instead of the telephone ringing or the caller can press "7" on their keypad to activate the pager if you are not diverted. You can also elect to have a pager with a stand-alone number. The telephone number of person calling you appears on your pager's screen.
The pager can store several call messages in its memory for future recall. There is a one-off initial purchase cost (debited to your cost centre). Threafter there are no recurring rental charges and no recurring call charges. The pager retains good residual value (credited to your cost centre) if returned to Telephone Office in good condition for deployment elsewhere.
