2a	26 weeks service leading into the week in which you are notified of being matched to a child and you are returning to work	Up to 52 weeks	Entitled to University Scheme: 16 weeks full pay followed by 23 weeks at £124.88 as at April 2010 (or 90% of earnings if this is less than £124.88 per week) The remaining 13 weeks will be unpaid.
2b	26 weeks service leading into the week in which you are notified of being matched to a child and you are not returning to work	Up to 39 weeks	Not entitled to University Scheme but entitled to Statutory Adoptive Pay: 6 weeks at 90% of earnings followed by 33 weeks at £124.88 as at April 2010 (or 90% of earnings if this is less than £124.88 per week)
