Environmental information
Environmental information that the University holds is subject to the Environmental Information ( Scotland ) Regulations 2004. The Regulations apply to a slightly wider range of organisations than does the Freedom of Information ( Scotland ) Act 2002, and there are some differences in how you get information under the Act and under the Regulations which are outlined in the Guidance for staff - Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (PDF, 92 KB).
Anyone anywhere in the world is entitled to access the environmental information the University holds. Information is made available either proactively, e.g. through the webpages of the University's Environment and Sustainable Development, or in response to a request. Information may be withheld from disclosure and fees charged for the provision of information in certain circumstances.
