Fund for Initiatives in Learning, Teaching and Assessment (FILTA)

Staff can apply to the fund for awards of up to £2,500 (projects involving multiple Schools/Units can bid for up to £5,000) to support innovation and development in learning, teaching and assessment - especially where the development requires pump-priming finance that cannot be provided from normal departmental resources.

There is a maximum of £10,000 to be disbursed by a competitive process. Bids for less than the maximum amount will allow more projects to be funded and are therefore welcome. New lecturing staff are particularly encouraged to apply.
