Do you play sport at a high level and are you thinking of applying (Undergraduate or Postgraduate) to St Andrews? Or perhaps you have already applied and had an offer confirmed?

If the answer to these questions is 'Yes' we would really like to hear from you before you arrive.

All St Andrews students are automatically members of the AU and have the right to join any of the 55 sports clubs, and compete in over 100 teams. The sports clubs offer a massive variety of opportunities to participate in, compete and experience a huge variety of sports at all levels, including performance at the highest level. We have 6 Directors of Sport that lead a Focus Sports Programme and we specialise in Rugby, Football, Tennis, Golf, Water Polo and Ultimate. There is also a Golf Bursary programmae and individual Scholarship programme that support student athletes accross any sport.

If you have considerable experience within sport either as a performer (county level or above), coach, umpire or volunteer, we would like to hear from you before you arrive. This will allow us to keep you informed of any opportunities that could be available to you as a student when you arrive. 

Please complete the Recruitment Flyer and return to either the Performance Sport Manager or the appropriate Director of Sport (see below). If you are able to also submit performance or coaching references with your form please do so.You will hear from us once this has been received.
