New Synthetic Turf Pitch

Work on the new Synthetic Turf Pitch will begin on Monday the 30th July. Once complete, the new facility will benefit a wide range of people across a number of sports. The main use will be for competitive football, full contact rugby and seven a side football. Other sports such as Lacrosse, Ultimate and Shinty will train on the pitch.
During the construction of the pitch there will be some unavoidable disruption to the area and the facilities within it. Unfortunately the track, inner track and other athletics facilities will be out of use until mid November. We will do our best to accommodate as many athletics disciplines as possible within other areas. Please bear with us during this period.
There will also be some disruption to the car park as it will be used as an access point for construction traffic. Please take care when accessing the car park and the sports centre reception.

- Rugby
- Athletics
- Track
- Long Jump
- Triple Jump
- High Jump
