Aerobics

This class includes a mixture of high and low impact movements that are designed to challenge your heart and lungs, improving your stamina and killing calories. Class involves choreographed routines along with muscular conditioning.

Beginners Pilates

For those who are new to or have never done Pilates before. Suitable for all ages of individuals who are interested in improving their fitness, posture and wellbeing.

Body blast

A toning and conditioning class with weights that is suitable for all levels and anyone who wants to make their muscles look and feel better.

Bootcamp

An outdoor session so come prepared for the weather. This class is packed with a variety of exercises designed to improve fitness, coordination, stamina, strength and endurance.

Boxfit

Punch your way to a perfect physique. Combining a variety of boxing drills using the pads and gloves along with effective body weight exercises; this class is great stress reliever where you can increase your stamina, strength and tone.

Cardiac rehab

These classes are for previous cardiac patients who have successfully completed a hospital-based Phase III exercise programme. Classes are designed for people to maintain health following a cardiovascular event.

Cardio combat

An aerobic punch and kick session; brilliant fun. Uses mixed impact and non-contact moves to give an allover body workout in a martial arts vibe.

Cardio workout

This class is a circuit-based cardiovascular workout based in the gym on the cardiovascular machines. The class instructor will keep you motivated throughout and vary the intensity of the session to give your heart and lungs an effective aerobic workout.

Circuits

Target all areas of fitness in the one class. The class is based around an interval-training format where bursts of non-choreographed aerobic activity are separated by periods of muscular strength and endurance work.

Complete combo

This class involves a balanced programme of a variety of activities in each session including aerobics, step and resistance training. Choreography will be easy to follow allowing you to focus 100% on getting that total body conditioning!

Core and kettlebells

Kettlebell training is a unique form of exercise that is fun and scientifically proven to burn fat fast, increase strength and improve cardio-vascular fitness. This class will show you the fundaments of kettlebell training whilst working every muscle in your body.

GEMs

GEMs is an over 60s low impact exercise class, set at a moderate pace, with quieter background music. It mixes cardiovascular exercise with some strengthening, mobilising and gentle stretching.

Jog Scotland

A great way to build up your stamina from walking to a 60 minute run. A beginners class is available for those who are new to running.

Over 50s

The class is aerobics based with some conditioning work included is specifically for the over 50s. The class format will be varied weekly to ensure firstly, that a whole body workout is achieved each time and secondly, that your motivation and energy levels remain high.

Pilates

Develop your strength, flexibility and endurance while challenging your core. Combination of controlled breathing and coordinated movements will improve your posture and muscle tone.

Pilates for the over 50s

This class involves a series of Pilates exercises appropriate for the over 50s.

Spin

This non-impact cycling workout, you will pedal your way to a leaner, stronger body. We offer spin with abs, spin and stretch as well as a beginner’s spin class for those who are new to fitness.

Supervised gym session

The class is ideal for cardiac clients who have completed 12 weeks at Phase 4 and wish to exercise in the gym, or those who simply like to exercise independently but in an informal supervised group environment.

Total conditioning

This is a 'no-nonsense' workout using simple moves that demand effort, rather than co-ordination. People of all fitness abilities can work out together, using barbells, hand weights, stretchy bands and mats, as the weight lifted can be easily adjusted.

Workshop workout

Workshop workout is based in the gym using a variety of the cardio and resistance machines as well as dumbbells. This class will provide you with a whole body workout allowing you to workout at your own pace.

Yoga

Suitable for all levels our Yoga classes concentrate on a flowing synchronisation of breathing and movement to promote a strong, flexible body and a calm mind.

Yogalates

Just as the name suggests this class incorporates the core firming dynamics of Pilates with the stretching and strengthening postures and spiritual aspects of yoga for the complete mind and body workout.

Zumba

A fusion of Latin and international music and dance combinations will have you moving to a blend of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. A 45 minute more intense version of this class is also available if your pushed for time.

20/20/20

Three workouts in one! Sweat your way through 20 minutes of aerobics, 20 minutes of step, and finish off with a 20 minute abs blast.
