Booking facilities
All users must report to reception before they use the facilities. Reservations can be made in person at the reception desk or by telephone during normal opening hours, for bookings made up to seven days in advance.
Making a booking
- Call reception on 01334 462190 to enquire about facility availability and make a booking
- Tell the reception staff the date, time, specific facilities and activity you want, as well as any equipment requirements.
- You must give valid membership details when you book. If making a reservation in person, show your membership card to the reception staff. If booking by phone, have your membership number ready.
- The details of your booking will be confirmed with you when you book, along with any special conditions of use.
Members
- Fitness+ members may book facilities up to 14 days in advance if they wish.
- Where a Fitness+ member books a facility for a group consisting of some members and some non-members of the Sports Centre, each non-member must pay a Sports Centre activity fee (£3 for student, £4 staff, £5 community).
- Club members are classed as non members for the purpose of booking facilities.
Non-members
- Non-members are not able book facilities for inividual use/casual sport.
- Non-members can still access the facilities by turning at the sport centre when they wish to play (charges below). This will depend on availability.
- All non-members, visitors and guests are required to pay £3 (student), £4 (staff) and £5 (community) for their activity.
Important information
- Users must check in at the reception desk BEFORE the booked activity takes place by handing their ID card to the receptionist.
- If you do not check in, the person who made the booking will incur a non-attendance charge, whether the activity took place or not.
- Debtors will be unable to rebook until their outstanding balance has been paid.
Cancellations and unused facilities
- Bookings may be cancelled up to the day preceding the booking by phoning Reception.
To avoid disappointment and unnecessary charges, please remember to carry your ID card at all times.
