Club information
St Andrews Windsurfing club provides for all ability levels from beginner to advanced. All of our beginner¿s windsurfing is run from Monikie Country Park where kit, safety cover and instruction are provided. For those who are more advanced and have their own kit, we sail off the beach at West Sands whenever it is windy. Many of our members have joined as newcomers to the sport and advanced significantly, others have enjoyed being more `social windsurfers¿. The club have an extremely active social scene with regular events, a ball and an annual trip to Tiree. SAWC will also be holding a Scottish Universities event in October and we will be sending a team to compete at the BUSA championships at the end of the year. So whether you are a keen windsurfer, want to enjoy a couple of great days out or just meet some like-minded people, get involved.
