Shinty needs YOU!
As a traditional Scottish sport, shinty is an intense, adrenaline-fuelled caman (stick) and ball game ¿ it¿s previously been described as a mutant hybrid of hockey and hurling. Most of the gregarious lassies of the St Andrews women¿s team have developed from complete novices ¿ we encourage beginners to try this sport and join the ever-expanding shinty family! The club can provide essential equipment, all we ask for is a little enthusiasm and a great big smile :-)
