Club information
Judo is a modern Japanese martial art that is practiced worldwide as a combat sport. In Judo competition the aim is to either throw one's opponent to the ground, pin the opponent for an extended period of time or force them to submit by applying an arm lock or strangle. At the University Judo Club we learn and practice techniques in competitive style such that we can see how they would actually be implemented in a contest situation but in such a way that they are accessible to everyone.Venue
