Training camps
The University Sports Centre is the perfect training venue for pre-season or mid-season training camps. With 42 acres of grassland, containing first class rugby and football pitches, the university playing fields have had sports stars and sports teams from all over the globe.
The University of St Andrews Sports Centre is also the base for Scottish Premier League team Dundee United, who train on the pitches and use the fitness suites on a daily basis.
FC Barcelona
Barcelona FC spent the entire week in St Andrews, basing their pre-season training camp, here at the University Sports Centre. During their time in St Andrews, the players and management praised the facilities and hard work undertaken by staff in preparation of the visit. In fact they enjoyed it so much that they came back the following year!
