Fitness suite inductions
To comply with Fitness Industry Association (FIA) guidelines, all individuals wishing to use the Fitness Suites must first attend a Fitness Suite Induction. This will ensure that customers are familiar with health and safety issues and the conditions of use of the facility. It will also help to maximise the effectiveness of workouts.
Health and safety induction for experienced exercisers
For those with exercise knowledge who have trained regularly using other similar *fitness facilities. Those with prior exercise history are only required to read and sign the PAR_Q and Exercise Disclaimer contained within the Induction Log Book located at reception.
There is no need to book for this procedure.
Room induction for new users
For those who have no previous experience using a *fitness facility.
Customers attending a Room Induction will be shown how to use the fixed resistance machines and the cardiovascular exercise machines within the Body Workshop. The process will take approximately one hour and will provide the opportunity to use the equipment in a safe and effective manner under the supervision of a trained staff member.
