Energise Classes
The Department of Sport and Exercise is proud to offer 'Energise'. A programme of exercise classes open to all University of St Andrews Students, Staff, and members of the community. The Energise Class Programme boasts a wide variety of classes so whether you prefer to exercise in the morning, at lunchtime, or in the evening, we cater for you.
There is a mixture of both drop in and pre bookable classes. Pilates can only be booked as a course for the full term. There will be additional courses advertised throughout the year so keep your eyes on our website and the notice boards around the Sports Centre.

Spin classes are a total body exercise that can burn up to 600 calories in 50 minutes. Anyone can benefit from Spinning and the great thing is that even though you are in a group class environment, you can still go at your own pace by adjusting the resistance of your Spinner bike as you go. Spin classes are suitable for participants of all levels although we have a specialised spin class for beginners. Why not try out the spin and abs lunch time class where you will get a great cardio workout with core conditioning to finish.

Junior Saints Cheerleading Club P1-P7
6 week trial block: 14th of Feb – 20th March, Tuesday evenings 4-5pm
Taught by the University’s very on Saints cheerleading squad, this class will include dance routines, stunts and pom pom cheers. Your child can enjoy taking part in physical activity and learning new routines to their favourite songs.
