Sir Thomas Malcolm Knox (1900-1980) (ms37523-37531; ms38349; UY875Knox)

Principal of St Andrews University from 1953-1966, Knox's papers comprise mainly his correspondence, on a variety of subjects (1925-66). The Library also holds a copy of his inaugural lecture as Professor of Moral Philosophy at St Andrews (1936; ms 37022/77), and an incomplete manuscript of his translation of Hegel's lectures on the history of philosophy.
