Dr Iain Matthews
Iain Matthews is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Ecology in the School of Biology and has both a BSc and a PhD from the University of St Andrews. Iain’s research is focused in two main areas. Firstly, as a member of the Fish Behaviour and Biodiversity Group, he is interested in the biodiversity and conservation of freshwater fish species and secondly he has recently become involved in urban ecology and has begun to investigate the patterns and processes underlying the distribution of biodiversity in human-impacted environments.
