SALTIRE courses - unlocking your potential
Students
SALTIRE offers support for undergraduate and postgraduate students; small group tutorials and larger group seminars are offered throughout the year.
For postgraduates, these courses are also supplemented by the GRADskills programme.
Staff
SALTIRE offers learning and teaching support for newly appointed as well as existing staff (including contract research staff). This includes seminars, workshops and conferences on a range of topics such as research management, support for learning, personal/professional development planning and useful software such as WebCT and Course Genie. We can also provide partial funding to staff who wish to attend external courses or conferences which develop their teaching skills.
Continuing professional development is also provided by Staff Development (Human Resouces) and Library and Information Services as well as by SALTIRE.
