The Research Policy office, under the direction of the Deputy Principal & Vice Principal for Research, is responsible for formulating and implementing University policy, planning and co-ordinating developments in the following areas:
- Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 (staff only)
- Research Metrics and Bibliometrics
- PURE (Research information system)
- Centres and institutes
- Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) and Full Economic Costing (FEC)
- RAE 2008
