RASSE Links

  • The Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF) is administered by English Heritage, and provides funding for RASSE.
  • English Heritage's statutory role is to ensure that the historic environment of England is properly maintained and cared for.
  • Archaeological Data Service (ADS) are providing archive services for the RASSE Project
  • University of St Andrews School of Geography & Geosciences is home to the Facility for Earth and Environmental Analysis (FEEA), which provides core submarine geophysical imaging abilities to the project.
  • Dr Louis Atallah of the British University in Dubai and the Department of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, is developing algorithms for evaluating and interpreting remote sensing images.
  • The Centre for Maritime Archaeology, University of Ulster, brings to the project an expertise in seafloor mapping using a variety of geophysical and marine survey techniques.
  • AMS, Dorchester, a division of British Aerospace, provides industrial advice on remote sensing issues.
  • Reson Offshore Ltd, Aberdeen, provides industrial advice on remote sensing issues.
  • Wessex Archaeology is a partner with the RASSE team on the Hastings Bank study.
  • Sonardyne Ltd provide assistance with precision long base line acoustic positioning systems used on this project.
