Human cognition
These researchers study a broad range of cognitive processes, including attention, executive control, sensations of memory (e.g. déjà vu), autobiographical memory, working memory and emotion recognition. The research examines cognitive deficits in populations with depression, Autism Spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s, Huntingdon’s and Parkinson’s diseases, and has led to the production of touch-screen computer interfaces for enhancing wellbeing in people with dementia. Research techniques include human experimental, EEG, and fMRI technologies.
