Research

The School of Psychology & Neuroscience has consistently been ranked one of the best research departments in the UK. For instance, the School was ranked 7th out of 76 UK psychology departments in the last Research Assessment Exercise (RAE2008), and 100% of our outputs were rated at ‘international’ level. Our research is broadly organised around 5 research themes, with many members of the School carrying out research in more than one theme. Researchers from the School also contribute to numerous interdisciplinary research centres and institutes.
