Dissertation and thesis printing and binding

Print & Design is ideally set up to print and bind your dissertation or thesis. Printing and/or soft binding can normally be carried out while you wait, however this may not be guaranteed during busy times particularly when large numbers of students are requiring their dissertations to be printed and/or bound.

The easiest option is to send your dissertation or thesis electronically to us at least 2 days (not including weekends) before the submission deadline (see details below).

Our Design Unit at St Katharine's West, 16 The Scores, can print and bind for you. We print onto 100gsm high quality digital paper and then soft bind using the Unibind method. If you prefer to print a document yourself, you can bring the prints to the Design Unit to be Unibound within 5/10 minutes.

Our Print Unit at 65 North Street also provides a fabric spine soft binding service, usually within half an hour, or hard binding which takes longer - usually ready for collection the day after you have submitted your printed thesis (for the St Andrews style only).
