Hip hop artist Tinchy Stryder will welcome new students arriving to St Andrews with a special gig at the end of the week. Stryder, who has released three albums and began his career on pirate radio with Dizzee Rascal, will close Freshers’ Week 2012 with his date at the Union on Sunday night.
The headline event follows a range of activities running all week for incoming students, including comedy, debates, a sandcastle building competition, headphone disco and famed St Andrews’ institution, the Bop.
