Hundreds of hardy students braved the icy chill of the North Sea on May Day for the traditional annual May Dip. Filmed by a crew from German TV station RTL, students plunged into the freezing early morning water at 5am, against the stunning backdrop of the sun rising on St Andrews. Many of them had participated in The Gaudie torchlit procession the night before, also captured here by Bubble TV.
