The Papal Bull takes centre stage at the launch of the 600th Anniversary celebrations.
Accompanied by fellow graduate Catherine Middleton, HRH Prince William returned to St Andrews to officially mark the occasion.
As part of the event, the couple visited MUSA where they were shown the remaining Papal Bull, granted by Pope Benedict XIII in 1413.
During his speech, he commented, "In true St Andrews style, and despite the great mathematicians whom its halls have produced, we still can't work out exactly how old we are. Are we 600 this year… next year… or is it the year after that?
"[…] Happy Birthday St Andrews. Here's to you, and here's to the next 600 years."
