Gordon Brown visited St Andrews to give a special lecture based on his book Beyond The Crash to staff and students of the University.
The former Prime Minister addressed a full-house audience of 350 in the Buchanan Lecture Theatre.
After the talk, Mr Brown signed copies of his book and made a special point of meeting and talking to pupils from Buckhaven High School and St Andrews RC High School, Kirkcaldy.
