A copy of the Man Booker shortlisted novel, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, has been gifted to every new student as they begin their university careers this weekend.
The acclaimed novel by Mohsin Hamid will be the focus of a number of Orientation Week 'Book Group' meetings where the new students can discuss the book with other entrants and St Andrews academics.
Mohsin Hamid will visit St Andrews for two days in October to give a lecture, read from his works and sign copies of his book.
