V-Day St Andrews 2009 is part of a global movement to stop violence against women and girls.
As part of V-Day 2009, a production of "The Vagina Monologues" will be held in The Buchanan Theatre at 8pm on 19-20 March 2009.
Money raised from this year's V-Day events will go to two charities - local and international: The East Fife's Women's Aid and, V-Day 2009's conflict zone, the women and girls of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
