The new rector of the University of St Andrews arrived on an old-fashioned ice-cream tricycle for the traditional rectorial drag this week.

Scottish Information Commissioner, Kevin Dunion, followed in the footsteps of his grandparents who owned an ice-cream business in Alloa.

Mr Dunion succeeds Simon Pepper, the retired director of World Wildlife Fund Scotland.

Further details about the role of the Rector and this week's Rectorial Installation are available here.
