The Pier was photographed by students from the University of St Andrews as part of a photographic competition in 2008.
Last year, the New Hall wardennial team challenged students to capture the spirit of St Andrews.
The brainchild of Academic Adviser and New Hall subwarden Lara Meischke, the photography competition resulted in some "quite remarkable" images.
