Rory McLion joined St Andrews' students in an abseil from the Forth Bridge to raise money for the Charities Campaign.
The Charities Campaign is a sub-committee of the Students' Association which aims to raise money for six nominated charities. They also work with every society affiliated to the Students' Association to help them run their charity events.
As well as the abseil, the Charities Campaign organised events throughout Orientation Week 2008 and has already raised £8535.
