Message in a bottle reunited with sender after 23 years at sea.
Almost a quarter of a century after despatching a message to sea, Orkney man Donald Wylie was reunited with the bottle which eventually washed up on the West Sands in St Andrews.
The message in a bottle was the star find among debris collected by a team of eco-volunteers taking part in a community beach clean organised by the University and the Fairmont Hotel St Andrews over the summer.
