Distinguished British actress Dame Judi Dench has been honoured by the University of St Andrews.
Dame Judi, an award-winning actress of the stage and screen, was conferred with an honorary degree by the University this summer. She was made a Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) in recognition of her contribution to the performing arts.
