Queen Elizabeth visited several places in North and East Fife in September 1950. She was in St Andrews for the Quincentenary celebrations of St Salvator's College. The Queen is wearing the hood and red and white silk gown of Doctor of Laws and is processing from St Salvators chapel to St Salvators Hall for lunch. Sir Francis Grant (the Albany Herald) walks before the Queen.
